Started as an agent for Farmers at 22. Moved to Maui in 2001… then went to Independent channel. Owned my own book of business for the largest Hawaiian Agency… learned commercial, personal lines. After 8 years, moved back to the mainland as my husband at the time wanted to be close to family. I sold my book of business and moved to Michigan. Then 2 years later my husband asked for a divorce and half of the money from the sale of my agency. 🙄😡 so, had to start over… got divorced.
Fast forward a few years… decided to start my own agency instead of working for others. Ran my own agency for 7 1/2 years. Created systems and tools to run my agency since I was a remote agency. Slowly after 5 years of creating systems and procedures I decided to make a business out of the need I saw in the insurance space for these tools/systems. Thus GravityCerts was born. Recently sold my agency to focus on GravityCerts and myself.
